Sexy Sake Bottles Try to Lure Fans of Ultra Alliance
Ultra J – ULTRA ALLIANCE JAPAN is releasing an original sake series featuring three sexy characters from the anime series, Ultra J. The “Sexy Character” sake series is a collaboration between Ponycanyon and Miraisaketen, which has store in Daikanyama, and Miyoshigiku Brewery in Tokushima prefecture. The stylish bottle design features enchanting tastes and famous scenes that expresses the individuality of each heroine: strong, cute and slightly colorful.

Otaku Specialty Store, Suzuki Liquor Hopes to Bring “Moe” to the World through Booze
Shizuoka prefecture’s Suzuki Liquor Store, which specializes in original moe (otaku affection for anime characters) characters and popular animation, will begin selling local Shizuoka sake overseas on the EC Mall ZENMARKETPLACE. The company hopes to combine two major (currently) subcultures, moe and sake, in order to further communicate both to a broader audience.
